Clients who wish to bid on the Grand View of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, are required to obtain a special shape paddle. Clients who wish to bid on other Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, are required to obtain a shape paddle. This special shape paddle and the  shape paddle are also valid for bidding on auction lots of other categories, except items in stamps, coins, banknotes items. Clients who wish to bid on Wine items, are required to obtain another special bidding paddle, which is only valid for bidding on Wine items.

Export clearance will not be granted to the lots marked with “*” in accordance with the Protection Law of Cultural Relics of the People's Republic of China.

For the payment of any purchase made by the Buyer during the China Guardian 2015 Spring Auction, before and up to and including 2th of June 2015, the Buyer will be charged a commission of 13.5% of the Hammer Price, and from 3th of June and up to and including 17th of June, the commission of the Buyer will be charged at 14% of the Hammer Price. This preferential policy will terminate on 18th June. Any deduction between the Buyer’s payment and the Seller’s payment shall not apply to this preferential policy. The Buyer purchased Lot may not be collected by the Buyer until full payment has been settled.

Please note the following information regarding the sale of Collection of Yixing Zisha Pottery by Yiyunzhai, 400 Years of Yixing Zisha Pottery, Treasure of Yixing-important Yixing Stoneware for China Guardian’s 2015 Spring Auctions:

1. Lot 3329’s certificate should be “the certificate of artist’s son”.

2. Lot 3330 status was intact.

3. Lot 3331 the rim of the cover was rubbed and its certificate should be 3 pieces.

4. Lot 3342 the cover was damaged and repaired.

5. Lot 3353 spout was repaired.

6. Lot 3402 doesn’t have artist’s certificate.

7. Lot 3435 the cover was repaired.

8. Lot 3406 the picture of the artist used in the catalogue was permitted by the copyright’s owner Chen Hai.

In case of discrepancy between Chinese and English versions of the Important Notice, the Chinese version shall prevail.
